DeAnn J. Grimmius, CPCU, ARM

Senior Risk Management Consultant

As a Risk Management Consultant, DeAnn focuses on developing business relationships and providing service to her clients at Rosenbloom & Rosenbloom, Inc. by drawing upon her risk management background. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in speech communications and a B.A. in Theatre Arts. DeAnn worked toward an M.B.A. with Insurance Emphasis at the University of St. Thomas.

DeAnn has been in the insurance business for over 20 years. She began her career with Fidelity Union Life (now part of SunAmerica). DeAnn moved into the property/casualty field and was a Risk Manager for Kraus-Anderson Construction Company. DeAnn furthered her career at R&R as an account executive managing the marketing and service on several large accounts including manufacturers, wholesalers, schools and contractors. Prior to her current position at R&R, DeAnn was at Aon Risk Services for six years in the area of marketing and new business development. DeAnn has a diverse insurance background and utilizes her experience to negotiate with the insurance carriers on our clients' behalf.

DeAnn is a member of the CPCU Society and has served on the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association. She is a member of Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church and has served on the Council and Board of Finance. She serves on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the Village of Izaty's and is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction.

DeAnn enjoys travel, golf, running and motorcycles in her leisure time.
